Y’Anna Crawley is best known as the 2009 Season II Winner of BET’s Sunday Best. A proud Washington, D.C. native and product of DC Public Schools, she graduated from Eastern High School, where she was a member of the award-winning choir under the direction and mentorship of Dr. Joyce Garrett. Her passion for music and her heart for people continue to fuel her dedication to her calling.

Y’Anna has lent her powerful vocals to an impressive roster of artists, including Genobia Jeter-Jones, Glenn Jones, Raheem DeVaughn, Angie Stone, Chrisette Michele, Jennifer Lopez, and Ledisi.

Her debut album, The Promise, features production from the award-winning team Lou “Busta” Brown and Scott “Shavoni” Parker—producers known for their work with gospel legends such as Kirk Franklin and Yolanda Adams. Released in partnership with BET Networks and Universal Distribution, The Promise debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Gospel Charts. In 2012, Y’Anna earned the prestigious Stellar Award for Best New Artist. She later followed with the successful singles “We Need You” and “In You,” produced by Aaron Sledge.

Expanding her gifts beyond music, Y’Anna showcased her acting talent on television and the stage with appearances on OWN’s Greenleaf, Coming to America 2, and in the feature film A Question of Faith, Dream Girls stage play to her own one women play “My Reel-Ailty to Destiny.

In 2026, this powerhouse entertainer shows no signs of slowing—only expanding her reach, impact, and artistic footprint. Y’Anna continues to evolve, elevate, and inspire, proving that her gifts are not just growing—they’re unstoppable.
